More evidence of Fingerworks at Apple

Apple knew what they were doing when they bought Fingerworks. It looks like they've now patented the gesture library that all of us Fingerworks keyboard (mine is a Touchstream LP) users used for years. And the latest patent looks very similar to previous product that they used to make. It's basically a wide touchpad on the bottom that understands gestures. Personally having the "keyboard" as the touch surface works better for me. You don't have to reach for the mouse and you perform your actions in place. Hopefully all of this will lead to a multi-touch tablet PC from Apple in which you would have gesture and multi-touch support.
